OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Medline Mexico is currently seeking an Operations Director who will be responsible for supervise and lead the organization’s operational activities to maximize growth and profitability. Provide daily Leadership and management of all manufacturing and operations functions. It will collaborate with executive-level management to develop performance objectives and long-term operational plans, maximizing efficiency and productivity. Work with management levels at the site to establish goals to achieve a strategic business plan.

Main responsibilities:

1. Direct the daily operations of the manufacturing and production process. Ensure efficient operations with minimal downtime and quality products; this includes continuous improvement processes in manufacturing and warehouse, a robust predictive maintenance program, and a training program. 
2. Ensure a safe, clean, and secure work environment by establishing and implementing strategies, rules, and regulations; regularly monitors all production-related safety systems and procedures. Regularly conduct security meetings and review the effectiveness of programs and processes. Manage all capital expenses. 
3. Make sure to receive and manage material correctly. Oversee and monitor all aspects of inventory management. 
4. Support for contract negotiations for new businesses. 
5. Provide timely responses to service failures and customer concerns.
6. Minimize and resolve external business-related complaints by liaising with local and divisional quality personnel to investigate and resolve customer issues. 
7. Develop financial planning with Finance and Operations.  
8. Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic objectives.  
9. Planned, monitored, and analyzed key metrics for daily operations performance to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.  
10. Develop strategies to ensure growth programs across the enterprise by identifying and implementing improvement processes that will maximize output and minimize costs. 
11. Maintained the organization’s policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations. 
12. Develop, implement, and monitor systems and daily operating processes that provide visibility into our key initiatives’ goals, progress, and roadblocks.
13. Responsible for supply chain management, compliance, and import-export.
